Located in the beautiful Elmira Building in the heart of historical downtown Ellensburg, The Mule Cocktail Bar was founded in 2019 by Sarah Beauchamp with the vision of creating a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere where friends gather to connect, recharge and enjoy an iconic Moscow Mule.
Our Story
Voted "Best New Business" by Kittitas County in 2020, The Mule Cocktail Bar has been serving the Ellensburg community faithfully for nearly four years. Founded in 2019, The Mule seeks to be an inviting and relaxing place "where friends gather" to enjoy some delicious food, specialty cocktails, and meet new people.
The Mule Cocktail Bar was named after the iconic "Moscow Mule". This drink features vodka, ginger beer, and lime and is the owner, Sarah's favorite drink. She knew that she somehow needed to incorporate it into her business plan. Over several taste tests and fun nights and collaborations with family and friends, The Mule was born and the array of specialty Moscow Mules you see on our menu today.
